Marriage Counseling
Our culture does not always value marriage, but God does. Marriage is the union of two people; because it is a representation of Christ and the church, marriage directly reflects our relationship with God. However, it can be difficult to live out a Christ-centered marriage. Worldly influence, temptations, and daily struggles encourage our hearts to stray from God and our spouses. While we are created for love and relationships (Genesis 2:18), how we express love to one another can be very different.
Falling in love is an emotion that can be hard to explain, but staying in love can seem daunting. God gives us the greatest example of love in His son, Jesus Christ, who came to redeem sinful people to Himself. At the Center for Biblical Counseling, we believe that marriage is a life-long learning process and that all marriages can be redeemed. Spouses can be reconciled, and love can be recovered by the truth of the gospel.
